Each penguin is hand knitted from imported wool and designed to resemble a Northern Rockhopper, complete with a knitted hat and scarf. “TDC” is knitted onto its stomach, standing for Tristan da Cunha and giving each penguin a clear connection to the island.
Available in three approximate sizes: Small — 7 × 15 cm, Medium — 9 × 21 cm, and Large — 10 × 30 cm. Hat and scarf colours vary, and as each penguin is handmade, small differences in appearance are part of its character.
