Prince Philip Hall and Albatross Bar stand at the centre of Edinburgh of the Seven Seas, Tristan da Cunha's only settlement.
Named after the late Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, the hall is the island's main venue for community gatherings and celebrations. Together with the neighbouring Albatross Bar, it forms the social hub of the world's most remote inhabited island community, set against the spectacular backdrop of Tristan's volcanic cliffs.
Visible on the right is the island's only swimming pool, which is open during the summer months and provides a popular recreational facility for residents and visitors alike.
